Seated Buddha Hti-lo-min-lo, Pagan

This gilded buddha seems to be stylistically from the original period of the temple. It is framed by a typical kind of architectural element. The statue's eyes, which were probably repainted when the gilding was last renewed, have a peculiar, wall-eyed gaze (closeup).
