|
This pediment is located beside the main east-facing pediment ("Ravana Shaking Mt. Kailasa," next page) of the so-called South Library ( glossary entry).
At the top of the scene, Lakshmi (consort of Vishnu) is being lustrated by two elephants. At the bottom, Garuda occupies a place normally reserved for the kala.
