Raurava hell Heavens and Hells East wing of south gallery Angkor Wat

The sinners in this, the "hell of the sobbing," are tied up and stacked like cordwood to be roasted over the flames. A fragmentary inscription refers to "the dispossessed ones, who live in exile [?] ... who do not pay their debts." (Sacred Angkor, p.45).
