Garudas Elephant Terrace, Angkor Thom

Carved into the brick of the main wall, these telamons seem to hold up the coping. In the center of the photo, a garuda tramples the body of a naga. Alternating with the garudas are lion-faced chimeras. Both types of creature are stylistically similar to those seen at Preah Khan.
