Naga BridgeWest Causeway

The west outer entrance of the complex is approached by a naga bridge which represents the Churning of the Sea of Milk (a similar bridge, not shown, leads up to the main eastern entrance). In the photograph, a team of devas pulls the snake, whose menacing heads (closeup) tower over the visitor. Two boundary stones can be seen at photo left.
