Military Procession

In the center of the military procession on the east wall we see a line of cataphracts (armored cavalry) above, a chariot-rider in the middle, and a line of unarmored horsemen below. The scene can be compared to Anak Tomb #3; although different in detail, a common repertory of themes (the portrait, the hunt, military exercises, daily life, and astronomical ceilings) appears in the decoration of these tombs.
