Crown

Three Kingdoms Period

This golden crown has a different design than others from this period (example). Its three tall uprights are covered in small extensions like the barbs of a feather, but otherwise are shaped like Korean ring pommel swords. Probably the "barbs" represent some kind of nimbus or radiance (light, flames) that is emanating from the swords.
