Neungsanri Royal Tombs

Baekje Dynasty, 538-660 AD
Buyeo, Korea

Neung Mountain Village is the burial place of the kings of Baekje, starting from 538 when the capital moved from Gongju to Buyeo. Seven tumuli are located on the slope of the mountain. In each, a central burial chamber is accessed through a corridor. As at Gongju, the tombs here are decorated with directional animals and astronomical ceilings.
