Holographic Model

Yoshinogari Yayoi Village

This display is found in the on-site museum. The tiny (1-2 inch tall) white figures are full-motion holographic images of actors performing activities such as nutting (center) and weaving (right). When the moving holograms are integrated with the background model, a lively three-dimensional effect is achieved.
