Sangameshvara Temple

Pattadakal, Karnataka

This incomplete temple was built by King Vijayaditya Satyashraya (696-733). Sculpture panels alternate with pierced stone screens, separated by pilasters. The sculptures are mostly incomplete. Above, the roof and tower are decorated with miniature roof forms.
