The pharaoh Shabatka (also spelled Shebitku), shown here, is the third king of the 25th dynasty; he succeeded his uncle Shabaka (also spelled Shabataka) to the throne. Shabaka's own son Horemakhet (previous page) was chief priest of Amun in the Theban capital.
