Here is an Avalokiteshvara (Chinese: Guanyin), this time dated to the Sui (581 - 618), the dynasty that succeeded the Northern Zhou (557 - 581). The handling of the body is similar to, although a bit more relaxed than, the preceding Northern Zhou dynasty.
